Reveals the mystery of the disappearance of the lake in Chile

Scientists have discovered the cause of the unexpected disappearance of lakes in southern Chile last month. Increasing the level of water has led to the formation of cracks in the ice wall on one side of the lake. The water flowed through the crack in a nearby fjord and from there to the sea, leaving behind the dry land of the remains of the ice. Scientists say the lake is slowly filled with water, which comes from melting glaciers. The researchers explain longer a mystery to be a phenomenon of global warming. This is a large pond area of 10,000 square meters. Meters in the Magallanes region, located 2,000 kilometers south of Santiago. MIGnews
